The Fading Days of Summer

We've had a beautiful summer here in West Michigan. I think we only had two days which reached 90 degrees and the humidity and temperatures have been comfortable nearly every day. I am not a huge fan of hot weather, so for me this summer was near perfect.

As we approach autumn, the return to school, and the start of a new season of activity, I'm already beginning to crave the foods that I know are coming. Pumpkin pie, squash bisque, grain salads, and slightly heavier meals -- it all sounds good to me.

There are things to get ready around the house too. Do you do a fall cleaning in addition to a spring cleaning? For me, fall cleaning means laundering the heavier blankets, beginning to haul out the Fall clothes, and while I am at it, giving the entire house a good scrubing.

In the weeks ahead I'll be writing about fall cleaning and cooking, and other joys of the season. And as I begin, I am wondering, in addition to getting ready at home, are you getting ready in your business for increased activity? Is this a busier time of year to be an IBO? How do the seasons effect your Amway Global Business?

Holidays are very productive. Really, there's not a lot of busy work with Amway Global. Just getting ready to hand out a bunch of samples and help my new customers learn how to order. It is always a great time to get new customers because more and more people are going online for gifts. Once you help them find the gifts they need in November and December, come January you can show them products THEY need all year round. Don't forget to share the Opportunity either! People always think about the extra money they don't have when they go to get gifts for the ones they love. Does anyone have a roasting recipe for pumpkins besides seeds?
