- Giving Thanks
-
I hope you had a great Thanksgiving. Mine was delightful. I love this holiday because of its simplicity and focus on gratitude. And what a wonderful way to kick-off the winter holiday season too! Regardless of what set of holidays you celebrate in the coming weeks, gratitude is a wonderful attitude to cultivate for better living.
I have plenty in my life for which to give thanks -- my health, my family, and my friends. And I also have my job here at Quixtar and the talented, dedicated people I work with. Given the food and cooking focus of my blog, I don't talk about the business that much -- but I am grateful for the efforts of the IBOs out there who are taking risks, working hard, and trying to make a better life for themselves and others. I don't travel like some of my fellow Quixtar editors, but the IBOs I have met at various functions and events here in Grand Rapids are truly inspiring for their hope, commitment, and energy.
And as someone who appreciates good food and healthy living, Quixtar offers lots to be thankful for as well. My kitchen definitely benefits from iCook and the superb cookware this brand offers. And Nutrilite offers vitamins and supplements that work so well I actually notice the difference if I skip taking them. I appreciate the fact that I work for a company committed to excellent products.
As Christmas, Hanukah, and the other winter holidays approach, let us keep keep gratitude in mind as we rush around, go to our parties, shop, and celebrate. In the weeks ahead, I'll be blogging about holiday food, health trends, and other related topics. I hope you stay-tuned and participate in the discussion.
